Links/Resources

Internet resources on Democracy, Elections and Democracy Promotion:

Note: disclaimers apply. The sites I am listing are sites I consider reliable, but accuracy in the world of blogging and individual websites cannot be taken for granted. (Of course, the same statement applies to traditional bibliographic and data sites, though at least in theory, traditional sources have been vetted by editors, peer review, and similar processes.) If you find materials on a blog or other website (i.e. one not affiliated with a recognized and trusted organization) that you wish to use for research purposes, my suggestion is to follow up on any sources linked within the entry you are using, and cite them as well as the blog/website itself.

The data sources I refer to below, and the sites with descriptions of electoral systems (like IDEA) are all sites I consider as reliable as any “traditional” resource, and thus may be cited as any other resource would be.
