Professor Emeritus David Jordan, Anthropology, has been named a top recipient in the UCSD Alumni Association’s 30th Annual Awards for Excellence, to be held June 7.
Lifetime Achievement-
Sociology professor Hugh “Bud” Mehan, director of CREATE, received a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association.
Sloan Fellowship-
Adam Aron, of Psychology, has been awarded a Sloan Research Fellowship, which supports the work of exceptional young scholars.
Cozzarelli Prize-
The National Academy of Sciences has selected a paper coauthored by Jim Moore, of Anthropology, as one of the year's best.
